I am a student studying BA (Hons) History at Warwick University and I am currently in my second year, living in Leamington Spa during term time. I was born in West London and live there during the summer. I have had a keen interest in history for as long as I can remember and I have a particular passion for early modern British history and so it is on Britain that I have decided to focus this blog. As you can probably tell from the emphasis on local history, I find that it is particularly fascinating to study the history of places you know very well. This blog gives me the chance to dwell on subjects that my degree doesn’t necessarily cover and I hope I succeed in communicating my enthusiasm for history, because it really is wonderful!
