I am a postgraduate student studying MA Early Modern History at King’s College London, having just finished my BA in History at the University of Warwick. I was born in West London and will now be living in London permanently. I have had a keen interest in history for as long as I can remember and I have a particular passion for early modern British history and so it is on Britain that I have decided to focus this blog.

As you can probably tell from the emphasis on local history, I find that it is particularly fascinating to study the history of places I know very well. This blog gives me the chance to dwell on subjects that my degree doesn’t necessarily cover and I hope I succeed in communicating my enthusiasm for history, because it really is wonderful!
